Handicap

Setiakawan realizes the sensitivities and enormity of having a bona fide handicap. Whilst realizing that golf is a game for Gentlemen, to avoid unhappiness and to ensure Fairness Setiakawan has formulated its own handicapping mechanism..

Setiakawan has entrusted a Handicapping Committee to ensure that members’ handicaps are current within Setiakawan golfing competition. In this effort the Committee has agreed on a set of formula which is explained in Annex C.

Club Competition

Setiakawan Golf Competition are divided its weekly competition and periodical competitions which are deemed Majors. The competion are:

Weekly. The Weekly Games are organized ‘weekly’ on selected golf courses. The criteria in selection is that the courses are accessible ( easily identified and within one hour to reach), affordable, friendly (buggied, caddied and forgiving to errant golfers)
Monthly
Setiakawan Masters.
Setiakawan Annual Golf Competition.
The Setiakawan International Masters.
