LESSONS ON GOLF

Handicap saya sekarang ini ialah 22. Habis rendah turun 20. Dah berkecimpung dalam sukan ni sejak tahun 1976. Sudah 30 tahun masih tak improve. Maybe too late to improve.
Saperti ungkapan ' Drive for show, Putt for dough'.
I hope this lessons may be of help. Do try and surf http://pga.com/instruction/putting.

  1. John, thank you for a good golfing lesson which I hope to see you breaking 100s and 90s!

I always enjoy seeing my golfing friends making great successes in reducing their handicaps, some went down as low as 2 or 4. Of course there are others who are very happy and comfortable to maintain 22 for reasons known only to themselves!

I read a book called "Golf Strategy For Breaking 90s and 80s". I followed what the book recommended and I won many competitions, including 1997 Malaysian Armed Forces Golf Nett Champion and Washington D.C. Diplomatic Golf Club Championship in 1986. Yang lain banyak sangat nak cerita lah... I am now sharing good golfing lessons with fellow golfers (FOC).

Now I will go to Lesson 1.

    1. Take your putter and 4 golf balls, proceed to practice putting green.
    2. From one-foot distance, from all angles
(up and down slopes, break left and break right) putt for 20 times. You must hole-in all your putts. If you fail to hole-in 100% , sorry, you cannot go to Lesson 2.

    Lesson 2.

After successfully achieving 100% putt out 20 balls from one foot distance, proceed to putt from 2 feet distance and repeat lesson 1. Again you must putt 20 times from all angles and you MUST hole-in 100%.
    2. If you fail to hole-in 100%, do not go to Lesson 3!

    Lesson 3.

    1. Proceed to 3-feet distance and repeat lessons 1 and 2.

    2. Out of 4 balls, you are allowed to miss only one. If you miss more than one out of the 4 balls, SORRY... you cannot go Lesson 4!

If you are not successful in lesson 1 to 3, why get your self tired at the driving range
tolearn to hit long balls? No need to show off by driving very long, trying to beat John
Dally when you CANNOT even pass lessons 1 to 3!

Enjoy the golf strategy, work hard and enjoy your putting practice.

    See you in next lesson.

    Salam,
    DN

  2. LESSON 4

After your are successful at lessons 1-3, you may now proceed to lesson 4. Follow the lessons and remember, DO NOT cheat yourself because in golf we are true gentlemen and we NOT supposed to cheat!

    1. With 4 balls you now move to 6-feet distance on the practice green.
    2. Repeat lesson 3 from the new distance from all directions.
    3. You are allowed to miss only one out of 4 balls and do not proceed to lesson 4 if you fail to meet the target.
Well, that's what golf training and golf
    discipline are all about.
If you cannot follow a very simple lesson how would you expect to break 100s, 90s and 70s score!

Enjoy your golfing lesson for free.

  3. LESSON 5

Before you proceed to lesson 5 I hope you
have made great achievements in Lessons 1-4. If you have not been successful..... STOP!
Go back to Lesson 1-4 until you perfect your putting from one-foot to 6-feet positions.

Have you been watching the FedEx Tour in Atlanta Georgia on Astro Channel 815? I have just finished watching Round 3, Kenny Perry leading with -8 followed by Tiger Wood -6, Sean O'Hare and Phil Mickelson -4. Perry played -6 in 3rd round beating Tiger by his good putting.

Tiger Wood is world's No.1 golfer and can you beat him in:

    Driving Distance? - NO
Arriving in 2 at Par 5s? - May be
    but very UNLIKELY
Gross scores? - NO, NO, NO, otherwise you will be playing the FedEx!

But Tiger Wood missed some short putts, even in Atlanta East Lake GC! This is where YOU can beat World's No.1.... in PUTTING!

Sorry, I cannot proceed to Lesson 5 because some skawan members called and sent sms asking me not to proceed with new lessons because they have not touched their golf sets yet after Hari Raya!

Hari Raya and Puasa 6 is over, how could you improve your golfing if you still have not touched your golf set after more than 6 weeks?let's go and practise putting!

    Happy putting training.
