SIM 9/2014 SURABAYA - SEPANJANG LAWATAN 19 – 23 OKTOBER 2014

Members SetiakawanGolf memang lah kaki golf. Itu timbul nya untuk mengadakan pertandingan di luar Negara. Kita namakan pertandingan itu ‘SetiakawanGolf International Masters’. Para isteri memang menjadi sebahgian dari rombomgan kita.

 
Dah 9 kali kita melancung. Kali ke 9 ini kita ke Surabaya, Indonesia.

Tak pasti sangat ke mana kaum ibu pergi tapi yang pasti mereka semua seronok. Ia lah. Kalau dah berbeg beg belian yang dibawa balek ke hotel tu, memang lah seronok.

Di belah suami lak tak pasti.

SIM 9/2014 DAY THREE – 22 OKTOBER 2014 BUKIT DARMO GOLF CLUB & RESORT

Hari Ke3, SetiakawanGolf bermain di Bukit Darmo Golf.
 

 

Mengikut cerita:
Today 22 Oct, we played at Bukit Darmo. A 19 year old golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Typical of Nicklaus, the bunkers are everywhere.

SIM 9/2014 DAY TWO 21 OKTOBERB2014 – TAMAN DAYU GOLF CLUB & RESORT

Hari kedua nya Setiakawan telah bermain di Taman Dayu Golf Club & Resort.

 

Mengikut cerita:
About 2 hours journey from the hotel. The course is equally tough compared with Ciputra. Narrow fairway,sand bunkers in the middle of the fairway, elevated green guarded by bunkers are all characteristics of Jack Nicklaus designed course.
 
 
 
 
Nonetheless we all enjoyed the game with competition within a competition in Mudarabbah group and Wawasan group that add to the fun of this outing. Syabas to all my golfer friends. Tomorrow is another day. You still can make it. This is golf. Langit tidak selalu cerah.

SIM 9/2014 DAY ONE 20 OKTOBER 2014 – CIPUTRA GOLF COURSE

 

Hari pertama bermain di Ciputra Golf Course. Mangikut cerita:

 

Ciputra course about 40 min by bus from the hotel depending on the traffic.  The course itself is not as good as it's advertisement. Bolehlah after all we all come from BOLEH LAND. Weather was sunny with a lot of strong wind yesterday 20 Oct. Most of us not used to playing in strong wind found it difficut to choose the right club to use.

The course is quite long by my standard and quite undulating. Sand bunkers pun banyak juga. Most of the good players could not show their skill yesterday....good for the high handicappers.
Tomorrow we would be  playing at Taman Dayu. All the best to all of us.
