setiakawangolf: Malaysia; Setiakawan Golf is a loose organization of golf enthusiasts whose interests and focus is GOLF. It was formed through the iniative of Lt Col Ramli Kinta (R) who together with Lt Jen Dato Ghani Abdullah ( R ), Lt Jen Dato' Abd Ghafir Hamid, Lt Kol Zainal Yan ( R ), Saudara Hamzah Massod and Lt Kol Kamaruddin Serkawi decided to start a weekly congregation of golfers on selected golf courses in the Klang Valley primarily to socialize through golfing activities. With the blessing of the former Army Land Commander, Lt Gen Abdul Ghani bin Abdullah (R), who initially acted as adviser and now the President, they embarked on inviting interested golfers to join Whilst initially the invitation was conveniently extended to retired members of the Armed Forces, it was promptly extended to other enthusiasts irrespective of vocation and profession. Most if not all are retirees or at least retired from their main and initial careers.
